ACRYLMALERIERNE Stilleben er malet i acryl på lærred. Inspirationen er min datters tøjdyr og grøntsager, blomster, natur samt ikke mindst gamle ting & sager.
Fra 2009 er jeg begyndt at male naivistiske malerier, bl.a. festlige får og frodige badenymfer.

De nonfigurative COLLAGER er malet i mixed media på håndgjorte papirer, og garneret med bl.a. "guld", tang og græsser. Inspirationen er først og fremmest papirernes egne mangfoldige strukturer, som nærmest udviser sin egen vilje, når billedet skal bygges op.

|
Motiverne til de sydlandske AKVARELLER stammer fra rejser, især til de græske øer, samt til Portugal, hvor jeg har boet. Med til at skabe stoflighed er anvendelsen af anderledes remedier, som f.eks. plastfolie, tandbørster, salt og natursvampe.

About the Paintings

The ACRYLICS Still life are painted with acrylic on canvas. The inspiration is my daughters teddy-bears and my grocery-store. And flowers, nature and old useful things.
In 2009 I began painting naivistic paintings, e.g. funny sheep and fat-buttom´ed beach girls.

The nonfigurative COLLAGES are painted with mixed media (acrylic, watercolour and gouache) on handmade papers. I have added "gold", seaweed and grasses. The inspiration is indeed the paper´s own very many structures, that almost build up the painting by it´s own will.

|
The WATERCOLORS are scenes from travelling in the South of Europe, mostly Portugal, where I have lived, and the Greek Islands, where I have spent my holidays quite often. Sometimes I use untraditional painting-tools, e.g. salt, plastic, natural sponges and tooth-brushes.
